Home deliveries across India's top nine cities surged 33% year-on-year in FY25, reaching 4,06,889 units, according to PropEquity.

This growth is driven by government initiatives like the SWAMIH Fund, RERA compliance, and positive market sentiment. Projects launched in 2018–19, delayed due to the pandemic, have now been completed. While most cities recorded strong growth—Kolkata (88%), Hyderabad (61%), Chennai (49%)—Delhi-NCR saw an 8% decline. Western India (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune) led with 55% of total deliveries, followed by Southern India at 30%. Delhi-NCR's share dropped to 11%. Overall, over 10 lakh homes were delivered in the past three years, with SWAMIH 2.0 expected to boost future deliveries of stalled projects.
